Plan Setup — Capture Real Constraints
Plan Setup — Capture Real Constraints
Users don’t fail because of motivation—they fail because plans ignore reality. LifeSync starts by capturing lightweight constraints: time available, energy level, deadlines, and fixed commitments. This produces a realistic “minimum viable day” plan that still works when the day gets messy.
Next Block — One Clear Action
Instead of overwhelming lists, LifeSync surfaces a single recommended next step with just enough context to begin. Progressive disclosure keeps the interface calm, reduces decision fatigue, and helps users start in seconds.
Recovery After Miss — Gentle Replan
When a task is missed, LifeSync avoids guilt-driven resets. Missed blocks are converted into doable options (shrink, move, skip) and replanned automatically into the schedule. The goal is continuity: recover fast and keep momentum without restarting.
Validation & Results
I defined success as measurable behavior change, not just UI polish. In the prototype, LifeSync is evaluated on: time-to-next-action (<5s), recovery completion rate after missed tasks, reduced decision loops (less re-editing), and a consistency proxy across days. The goal is simple: when the day derails, users regain clarity fast and keep moving—without restarting.
